Ceremony / Banquet
Participation in Graduation Ceremonies requires students to:
- Have earned the required credits and courses to meet the Alberta Education requirements for a High School Diploma or Certificate of High School Achievement
- Be a student in good standing according to the school' code of conduct
Individual cases will be considered on their own merits.
Graduation Ceremony
All students who complete graduation requirements are invited to attend the annual Graduation Ceremony. This includes a ceremony and awards. Detailed information is provided to each graduate. Information sheets regarding the Celebration and Graduation Photos are available at each of our school locations.

What: 2026 Discovering Choices Graduation
When: June 4th, 2026
Northgate Ceremony: 9:30 - 11:00
Westbrook Ceremony: 11:30 -12:30
Downtown Ceremony: 1:00 - 2:30
Bowness Ceremony: 3:00 - 4:00
Graduates, please arrive 30 mins before the start of your ceremony for gowns and final prep.
Where: Central Memorial High School. Parking is behind school off of 21St. SW. Attendants will be present to direct and support.
Why: Because you've earned this opportunity to celebrate!
Our graduation celebration is a dry event. No drugs or alcohol are permitted. If any attendees are under the influence, they will be asked to leave.
