Dear Parents, Guardians, and Independent Students,

We are excited to share an upcoming creative opportunity for our Discovering Choices school community!

Discovering Choices is launching a Logo and Motto Redesign Contest, inviting students to help re-imagine how our school is represented visually and through words. This is a chance for student voice, creativity, and identity to shine.

Contest Details:

• Students are invited to submit an original logo design and/or motto that reflects the values, spirit, and community of Discovering Choices.
• All submissions are due by February 26 and should be submitted directly to the student’s site Youth Council instructor.
• From each site, top designs will be selected by students in Youth Council, in collaboration with the Indigenous Advisory Committee.
• Selected designs will then be shared on the Discovering Choices website, where parents, students, staff, and community members will be invited to provide feedback.

Guidelines 

This process is designed to be collaborative, student-centered, and reflective of the diverse voices that make up our school community. We encourage families to support and encourage students who may be interested in participating.

More details, including design parameters and submission guidelines, will be shared with students by their site teams.
