There are many more activities and field trips, including drumming, Foods Class, Robotics Class, Drama and Dance, In The Lead, and a show at Theatre Calgary! Talk to your advisor and site assistant principal to get more details, as some activities are site specific, while others are available at all sites.

There are no fees associated with any of the above opportunities. The fees are offset by generous grants and donations throughout the year. We are grateful to our numerous Partners and Donors, including Education Matters and Rotary Club of Calgary Olympic, for supporting Discovering Choices with barrier removal funds.

Graduation Update

Discovering Choices Graduation Ceremony will held on Thursday June 5th at Central Memorial High School in the Theatre. CMHS staff and students will be away that day so we will have the space to ourselves. Similar to last year, all 4 Discovering Choices sites will have their graduation on the same day, one after the other, a schedule will be shared after spring break. If you are unsure if you are on the graduation list, please connect with your advisor and site assistant principal right away. Your site AP and advisors will also have site specific information about grad gown orders and grad photos. Gown orders are subsidized so the fee is only $10, graduation photos are at the expense of the graduate.

A reminder that you may check student achievement and progress, as well as attendance, through your MyCBE account.

Please reach out if you have any questions.

Sincerely,
