Dear Students and Families,

Welcome back! Today marks the first day of classes, and we are so excited to have our students back at all 4 Discovering Choices sites. We’re looking forward to a wonderful school year filled with learning, growth, connection, and lots of great moments together.

As we get started, we ask all students and families to take a few minutes to review the following CBE Administrative Regulations:

AR 6006 Progressive Student Discipline

AR 6031 Welcoming, Caring, Respectful and Safe Learning and Work Environments

Reviewing these expectations helps us build a safe and caring environment that fosters and maintains respectful and responsible behaviours where everyone can thrive.

If you have any questions about course selections, graduation requirements, or if there is anything else we can assist with, please do not hesitate to reach out directly to Guidance and Student Services (GSS), as well as your respective site Assistant Principal.

A reminder to our independent students (18yrs+); If you would like us to share information with your parents/guardians, we need you to complete the annual Obtain and Release forms. Please pick up a hard copy at your respective school office and return these forms to the school secretary.
